ANA's endeavor to connect all 7.5
billion people on Earth

All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (ANA) set out the promotion of the ANA Group Society 5.0 in its Mid-Term Corporate Strategy for FY2018-2022, and is tackling the challenge of creating new markets and demand through an entirely new concept based on this vision. One of the projects it is advancing as a part of this is the ANA Avatar X Prize, implemented in collaboration with the U.S. non-profit organization X Prize Foundation. This project is based on the theme “Bridging Distance, Time, and Cultural for All,” and seeks to create new value in fields such as welfare, disaster prevention, and working in extreme environments. Why has ANA moved beyond the boundaries of its air transportation business to take up the challenge of an initiative like this?

This keynote lecture will cover the unique challenge undertaken by ANA as it collaborates with diverse stakeholders across the world on a global initiative that is not restricted to just one company.
